Return to School

WE are so EXCITED to have so many of our students returning to school! 

 Below is the return schedule:

Thursday, April 8th – EK-3rd grades and 1st-6th Special Ed Cohort B

Tuesday, April 13th – EK-3rd grades and 1st-6th Special Ed Cohort A

Thursday, April 15th – 4th-6th grades Cohort B

Tuesday, April 20th – 4th-6th grades Cohort A

Monday’s will remain Distance Learning for all students

Cohort A attends Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Cohort B attends Thursdays and Fridays

 

Early Kindergarten hours will be 8:15AM -11:15AM

Kindergarten through 3rd grade will be 8:00AM-11:00AM

4th through 6th grade 8:10AM-11:10AM

Some changes for returning to school: one entrance through the cafeteria, parents may not exit their cars, temperature checks, face coverings, social distancing on the playground, exterior hand washing stations, exits through the cafeteria (if picking up lunch). gate at room 7 and gate at the backside of room12.  For a step-by-step video please be sure to check out the Beaver Den at our website, https://hbancroft.scusd.edu/

 

Meal Distribution

Starting on April 5, Nutritional Services will be offering curbside meal pick-up on Mondays ONLY from 11:00am – 1:00pm. For the complete list of school sites please visit the district website at SCUSD.edu.  Additional locations will be added April 12th. Also, starting on April 12, families will need to show enrollment verification documents to receive curbside meals. Verification documents were mailed to all Sac City Unified students beginning on March 31. Students do not need to be present for parents/guardians to pick up meals. Meals will be provided at no cost to enrolled SCUSD or associated charter students. Additionally, free meals will be provided to any child present in the vehicle during curbside distribution that is not enrolled in SCUSD or associated charter school.

Starting April 8 and 9, students engaged in-person learning will be able to take “grab and go” lunch and breakfast for the next day home each day. Meal distribution models vary by school site. For the most up-to-date information about meal distribution, please visit www.thecentralkitchen.org. 

Family Dine-Out Night

Join us at Leatherby’s, 2333 Arden Way, on Thursday, April 29th between 5:00PM and 9:00PM.  Please take the attached flyer or be sure to tell the cashier you are with Bancroft’s fundraiser, they will donate 20% of our sales back to us.

 

Intra/Inter District Permits

If you have moved out of our neighborhood (Intra), or out of the school district (Inter), and wish for your student to continue at Bancroft for the 2021/2022 school year you must submit a permit request through the SCUSD.edu website between April 1st and May 3rd.
